Under the 89th passing out, 58 officer cadets from four Intakes as 18 officers from Regular Intake 81A, seven officers from Regular Lady Intake 14, twenty nine officers from Volunteer Officer Cadet Intake 56 (V) and four officers from Volunteer Lady Intake 13(V) were commissioned at the colourful ceremony by the Defence Secretary and the Commander of Army.

Addressing the event the Defence Secretary said that, the passing out officers would not be confined only for military operations, but they would have to engage in nation building process.

The chief guest also presented awards to the winners of each intake.

Officers of SL Army, relations and the family members of the commissioned cadet officers were also present.
