Several spells of showers will occur in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Northern provinces and in the Trincomalee district.
A few showers are also likely in the Western and North-Western provinces and in the Batticaloa district.

Met Department expects the prevailing strong windy condition over the island to continue, particularly over the Western slopes of the central hills and Southern province, and over the Western and Southern sea areas.
