Code of Ethics for Sri Lankan photographers prepared by the Sri Lanka National Photographic Arts Society will be launched today (2nd July) at the Public Library auditorium, Colombo under the patronage of Parliamentary Reforms and Media Minister Gayantha Karunatilaka.
The Code of Ethics was prepared by the society under the supervision of an expert committee comprising Palliyaguru, Prof. Mapa and Dr. D.M. Karunaratne.
National Photographic Arts Society and a Camera and Photographic accessory fair will be held simultaneously with the launch of the Code of Ethics.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
