Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilake yesterday (13th July) addressing the weekly Cabinet briefing said that around 1,000 super market branches including Sathosa, and the government are now in a consensus to facilitate the customers to buy those essential items under the gazetted-prices as much as possible.
Minister requested the public to be aware of the price escalation or hiding goods to create an artificial shortages in the market and to inform the relevant authorities in this regard.
