The World rabies day will be commemorated on September 28.
Ministry of Health and Indigeneous Medicine and together with Public Health Veterinary Services advises the public to vaccinate their dogs and cats at 3 months, six months and thereafter once a year to eradicate Rabies from our country.
Rabies is 100% fatal and also 100% preventable both in human and animal populations.
