The Welfare society of the Ministry of Provincial councils and Local Government organized a Medical camp and a blood donation with the presence of the Minister Faizer Musthafa and Ministry Secretary Kamal Padmasiri.
The medical camp was organized to encourage the public sector employees and to improve their efficiency and productivity. At this camp health checks were done for cancer, diabetes, pressure checks as well as blood tests were done for Cholesterol as well. The checkups were done by doctors at the Non communicable disease unit of the Health Ministry.
Around 1000 employees working at the Food Department, Paddy Marketing Board and Development Lotteries board participated at the medical Camp.
