Mrs. Nezaket Emine Atasoy, made such statement during her discussion taken place with State Minister of Fisheries Dilip Vedaarachchi and State Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training, Palitha Range Bandara recently at the Ministry of Skills development and Vocational Training where she was briefed on the leading role played by the Marine University in bestowing Sri Lankan fisheries with professionals and experts of the field.

Mrs. Nezaket Emine Atasoy mentioned that Turkey will be extending knowledge, technology and other facilities in developing Sri Lankan fisheries and a establish a fellowship scheme in a Turkish university for the Sri Lankan youth to engage in higher studies in fisheries.
