The new library building constructed by Sri Lanka Army (SLA) at the Kanagambikaikulam Tamil College in Kilinochchi was vested with the students on Wednesday (16th Nov.).
According to army media sources the new building constructed by the 16 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) troops of the 57 Division of Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) will fulfill a long felt need of the school.
Financial contribution for the project had been provided by Ceylinco Life Insurance Company Limited. The project was undertaken under the community welfare initiatives of the SLA.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
