A slight change in the prevailing dry weather is expected during next few days particularly in the Northern and Eastern parts of the country.
A few showers can be expected in the Uva, Eastern and Northern provinces and in the Polonnaruwa district.
Showers or thundershowers will occur in few places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces after 2.00p.m.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
