Several spells of showers will occur in the Eastern, Uva and North-central provinces and in the Hambantota district. Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts after 02.00p.m.
Fairly strong winds can be expected over the island, particularly in the Southern half of the country.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. Public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
