Troops of the Sri Lanka Air Force renovated the Sri Murugan Tamil School in Batticaloa recently.
According to Air Force media sources this public welfare initiative was carried out by Air Force Station in Batticaloa in view of the forthcoming 66th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force. The renovation work commenced on 27th January and ended on 16th of this month.
The opening ceremony of the renovated school was held on Tuesday (21st February).
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
