Showers or thundershowers will occur in the most parts of the island particularly after 2.00pm.
Showers will occur in the Western, North-western and Southern coastal areas and Jaffna district in the morning too.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
