Lanka Sathosa outlets in flood affected areas have been directed to support relief efforts, Ministry of Industries and Commerce said.
Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishard Bathiudeen on 27th May visited the flood affected areas in Baduraliya in Agalawatte and said that he had instructed outlets in Mathugama area to be ready to assist.
Joining Minister Bathiudeen was Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Wayamba Development and Cultural Affairs and Kaluthara District MP Palitha Thevarapperuma.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
