President Maithripala Sirisena will vest the 'Sandapahanagama' Uda village in Hambantota District with public and launch the new 'Sewana' lottery tomorrow (23rd June) to commemorate the National Housing Day, which falls tomorrow.
The 'Sandapahanagama' Uda village is the 30th such village established under the new Uda village initiative of the Ministry of Housing and Construction.
This Uda village is situated in a land plot of 4 1/2 acres in Manajjawa village and consists of 26 houses with a 20 perch garden.
Infrastructure facilites including water, electricity, access roads and assembly hall have been established in Sandapahanagamam Village.
Minister Sajith Premadasa will also participate.
