Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Eastern, Uva and North-central Provinces and in the Mulativu and Vavuniya Districts after 2.00 p.m.

Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected in the Southern Province (Particularly in the Hambantota District).

Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
