    Rs 28 billion worth health projects next year Featured

    Health Minister Rajitha Senaratna said that the government will invest Rs 28 billion next year to develop the health sector.


    Addressing a meeting at the Veediya Bandara Vidyalaya in Morapitiya,  he said that already the cabinet has approved these projects and will be submitted for next year’s budget.

     


    Once these projects are implemented it will lead to lesser crowding at hospitals as neighboring hospitals will be developed.

     


    It is planned to establish children’s, cancer, maternity, new births ward complexes as well as stores and clinics.
