Cloudy skies can be expected in most parts of the island today (22nd Aug.), Met Department said.
Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces.
Light showers will occur in the North-western Province.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the Uva Province and Ampara District after 2.00 p.m.
Fairly strong winds about 40-50 kmph can be expected in the Hambantota, Maduru-oya and Polonnaruwa areas.
