Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Eastern, Uva and North-Central provinces and in the Mullaitivu and Vavuniya districts after 2.00 p.m. Fairly, heavy falls (about 50 mm) can be expected at some places particularly in the Batticaloa, Badulla and Ampara districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Jaffna district.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-Western and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected in the Hambanthota district and in the western coastal area.
