Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-Western and Central provinces and in the Galle district.

Showers or thunder showers may occur at a few places in the Uva Province and in Batticaloa and Ampara districts after 2.00 p.m.

Fairly strong winds of about 40-50kmh can be expected over the country (particularly in Northern, North-central, North-western, Eastern and Central provinces and in the Matara and Hambantota districts).
