Several spells of light showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Uva, Eastern and Northern provinces after 2.00 p.m.

Fairly strong winds of about 40-50 kmh can be expected over Hambantota and Maduru-oya areas.
