Several spells of shower will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Northern and North-western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
Showers or thundershowers may occur in the Uva Province and in the Batticaloa District after 2.00 p.m.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
