Showers or thundershowers at times are expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and North-Western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts. Heavy falls (above 100mm) can be expected at some places.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Northern Province and in the Anuradhapura and Hambantota districts.
