All the public sector institutions except 11 institutions have become profit earning institutions under the current government, Minister of Health Nutrition, and Indigenous Medicine Dr. Rajitha Senarathne said.
He made these remarks addressing the opening ceremony of the ‘Suposha’ sales outlet and Milco Milk Bar, jointly set up by Sri Lankan Thriposha Limited and Milco Private Limited in Kandana yesterday (29th Oct.).
‘Thriposha’ is given to the children and pregnant mothers as a nutritious additional food and the excess production is issued to the market as ‘Suposha’.
