Plans are afoot to provide electricity to houses which do not enjoy power supplies within the Moneragala District before the end of the next six months, the Minister Jagath Pushpakumara said addressing a gathering of Sri Lanka Freedom Party activists in the Buttala area.
The Minister said that the financial allocations needed for the supply of electricity have already been made.
Chairmen of Branch Societies of the United National Party and several senior party activists secured membership of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party from Minister Jagath Pushpakumara. (ST/KH)
