    Nano Technology Science Park to establish in Homagama

    The Urban Develqpment Authority has allocated 48 acres of land at Pitipana, Homagama for the establishment of the Nano Technology Science Park.  The Treasury has allocated a sum of Rs.300 million to implement the programme for the establishment of the National Science Centre.

     

    The total estimated cost of the project is Rs. 419 million and it is expected to implement it in two stages in 2014 and 2015.  the construction work will be carried out by the  Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau.

     

    The proposed project consists of pilot plant area, office spaces, effluent treatment area, meeting rooms and the storage spaces, etc.  (ST/KH)
