The refurbishment of the 'Sanga Wasa' (abode of the monks) was carried out under the patronage of the Ministry of Livestock and Rural Community Development.

A special blessing ceremony was also held to invoke blessings on the country and the people during the proceedings today.

Hon. Minister of Livestock and Rural Community Development Arumugam Thondaman, Hon. Deputy Minister of Economic Development Muthu Sivalingam provincial councilors, state officials and people of the area were present at the occasion. (MoU)
