The Met Dept. in its weather update issued today at 12 noon says that there will be several spells of showers in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Northwestern provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts. Thundershowers will develop at several places in the North-central, Eastern and Uva provinces during the afternoon or evening.
