Issuing a statement, the Secretary Ministry of Education pointed out that out of more than 225,000 teachers, absorption of around seventy five percent of teachers based on the new Teacher Service Minutes, has been completed.

The Education Secretary claimed that the absorption as well as the granting of promotions to 15,600 teachers from among 32,000 National School teachers has also been completed.

The Line Education Ministry has intimated all Provincial Education Directors that all other promotions and absorption's would be concluded before the 31st of this month.

Also, the second round of training with regard to absorption and granting of promotions were held at provincial level from July 14 to 30. The Education Ministry Secretary said that specific advice will be given to all problems identified during the training sessions in order to effect promotions and absorption without any delay.
