The Department of Railways has made arrangements to operate special train services from Colombo to Kandy, Kandy to Nawalapitiya and from Matale to Kandy effective from August 25 to 29.
The special train services will be operative in the following manner :-

On August 29, a special train will be operative from Kandy at 11.55 pm. and will reach Matale at 01.13 am while a train from Matale will depart at 12.40 am. (30) and will reach Kandy at 1.55 am. on 30th.
