The rehabilitated LTTE cadres have cultivated hundreds of lands in the North. The Civil Defence Force says that 500 acres of dry lands in Jaffna, Kilinochchi and Mulativu have been cultivated by them.
They are engaged in numerous jobs including farming. More than 3,000 youths in these districts are engaged in preschool teaching, tuition classes, handicrafts and other employment.
The rehabilitated LTTE cadres say that they are living freely and happily today.
