A severe dry climatic condition prevailed in the Northern Province during the last few months. Ending this dry spell, heavy rains are now being experienced.
The most affected by this adverse condition are those engaged in the manufacture of bricks. They are rendered helpless as they do not have any means of protecting the bricks from the rains.
The industrialists point out that if this situation continues to prevail for some more days it would be impossible for them to engage in their industry.
