The Programme is being organized under the guidance of Matara District Secretary E.A.C.Vidanagamachchi on the theme - "Let us create a generation which is dedicated to protect the country, language, ethnicity and the Buddhasasana".

The programme will include offering of floral tributes to the Anagarika Dharmapala statue near Matara Bodhiya, tree planting campaign, a documentary depicting the life of Anagarika Dharmapala and the inaugural speech will be delivered by Prof.L.P.Jayatissa, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies of Ruhuna University. .
