The Southern Province coastal clean-up program was held on Wednesday (23) at the coastal area near the Southern Expressway Galle (Dewata) access point under the patronage of Parliamentarian Wariyapala Hettiarachchi and Southern Province Chief Minister Shan Wijayalal De Silva.
The programme was organized by the Marine Environment Protection Authority.
Chairman of the Marine Environment Protection Authority, government officials including the District Secretariat, security forces personnel and school children were among the participants.
