    April 19, 2016

President Maithripala Sirisena’s participation for the G7 summit in Japan will be a great opportunity to create a positive impression on Sri Lanka among the world’s most powerful leaders.

According to the Minister of Skill Development and Vocational Training Mahinda Samarasinghe, President Sirisena met world leaders before on many occasions for different matters. “President from his long experience is well aware to transact with these leaders without any middlemen. This is a fact which was widely visible during the past meetings and discussion he had with the global leaders,” said Minister yesterday (18th April) addressing a press conference at the Department of Government Information Auditorium.

“Today an unprecedented international relationship is building with Sri Lanka and these steps will help to strengthen the economy of the country”, he added.
