When the chairman, SLTB Ramal Siriwardhana informed the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Nimal Siripala De Silva regarding an issuance of a tender to a company related to the above company, the Ministry blacklisted the related company and cancelled the tender.

Following the instructions of Chairman Siriwardhana, the SLTB will conduct an internal investigation into these two cases separately. “Necessary legal action will also be taken to recover the payments”, the Chairman said.
