He was speaking at the opening of the Business Research and Development Centre at Makandura ,Kurunegala  on 13th September From next year the government will provide I pads free for Advanced level students while I have told minister Harin Fernando to establish wifi zones near all Maha Vidyalayas.

To look into the request made by university associations a trust will be established with people representing National Youth Council and University Grants Commission. They will look into the suggestions and provide the necessary funds.

Premier Wickremesinghe said that the government will be able to finish all these activities if a strong economy is built. Therefore one of the main aims of the government is building a strong economy.
