He made this request during the live television programme organized to educate the public on the facts and myths regarding the Coronavirus.He noted that currently there are 10 confirmed cases identified so far and the latest is a 17-year-old who had contracted the virus through a relative. Dr. Jasinghe warned that as there are others who had arrived in the country prior to March 10th  and had not undergone the quarantine procedure, there is a higher probability of them carrying the virus which could spread to others.
