Addressing the inaugural media briefing at the National Operation Center for the Prevention of COVID- 19 Dr. Jasinghe said one of the six detected today is the wife of the tour guide who had tested positive for Covid-19 previously and is currently receiving treatment at the IDH. Another who was detected today is connected to the previously detected patient who had toured Germany, while another is a person who had returned to the country from the UK.
The other detected patients are from Kelaniya, Marawila and a 25-year-old from Udugampola who had returned to the country from Qatar, the Health Services Director General said.
