The Deputy Minister expressed his willingness to exchange expertise in the field of science technology, establishment of free zones and industrial zone and technological know-how on the SME sector and standardization.

The Deputy Minister further requested to expedite signing of the memorandum of understanding between Turkish Standards Institution and Sri Lanka Standards Institution.

Counsellor (Commerce) of the Embassy Yoshitha Jayasuriya and Director General of EU & Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Industry and Technology Mustafa Erdogan also participated at the meeting.
