A media briefing in this regard was held at the Governor's Office auditorium in Kandy (30) under the patronage of Provincial Governor Lalith U. Gamage

Addressing the media briefing, the Governor said that the public would be able to provide information to this new unit regarding environmental damage in any part of the Central Province and that prompt action would be taken on such complaints while ensuring the confidentiality of such information.

Accordingly, the public can send information by calling 070 4702500 or 081 4953248 or via WhatsApp or Viber in case of any activity that could harm the environment in any part of the Central Province.
