Minister of Mass Media and Cabinet Spokesperson Keheliya Rambukwella requests the public to strictly follow the Covid-19 guidelines during the festival season and to support curtailing the third wave of Covid-19 virus.
The Minister said this at the Cabinet decision media briefing held today (06) at the Department of Government Information.
Responding to a question raised by a journalist, the Minister said that all the relevant health institutions, public health inspectors, and the police have already been informed about this.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
