Showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island during the evening or night. Fairly heavy showers above 75 mm can be expected at some places in Central, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and North-Central provinces.

A few showers will occur in western and southern coastal areas during the morning.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces during the morning.

General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
