Showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island after 1.00 p.m.

Heavy showers above 100 mm may occur at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Northwestern and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.

Showers may occur in the Northern, Eastern and Southern Provinces during the morning too.

General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
