The Prime Minister made this assurance in Parliament yesterday when Chief Opposition Whip Anura Kumara Dissanayake expressed his doubts whether the Committee was an attempt to buy time and suppress the incident.

The Prime Minister also replying to Parliamentarian Dinesh Gunawarden asked him to give the names of the students who had wanted to enter Parliament as he too is ready to meet those student leaders.

.“We can admit them in, if they follow the due procedure. Not only opposition MPs, I too am glad to meet them and talk to them. There is no issue” Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe observed.
