The world's attention is on Sri Lanka and as a result of the January eighth revolution many countries which opposed Sri Lanka earlier are helping the country, A new culture has been initiated, The President is taking action to strengthen democracy and reconciliation while the Prime Minister is making economic reforms, he added.
Minister Samaraweera made these observations today (02) in Parliament joining the debate on the second reading of the appropriation bill 2016.
The first budget of the national government laid the foundation for a rapid development process. The country today has become an outstanding democratic state in the world and has won the world's attention, the Minister further said.
