The first screening of the film held at the Tarangani Film Theatre and the organizers of the 4th Delhi International Film Festival also participated in this event. On this occasion President Maithripala Sirisena presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to the Indian film director, Ketan Mehta, an award given by the organizers of the Delhi International Film Festival.

The organizers of the Delhi International Film Festival also presented a honorary award to the President. An award was presented to the producer of the film, Rajaputra Weerasinghe by the President.

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, Ministers Gayantha Karunathilake, Susil Premajayantha, Deputy Minister Karunarathna Paranawithana and others participated in this event.
