This flag selling program commenced in 1996 is held this year for the 20th successive time under the theme “Towards a Tobacco Free Friendly Environment for All of Us to Live in” from 31st May to 26th June.

Strengthening it further, large number of events has been implemented under the “Drug Free Country National Program” which is carried out under a concept of President Sirisena.

Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare S. B. Dissanayake, Secretary to the Ministry Mahinda Senevirathne and Director General of Divi Neguma Chandra Wickramasinghe were also present at the occasion.
