President Sirisena recognised the services of Ven. Kuppiyawatta Bodhananda thero, Inspector general of Police Pujith jayasundera, and Mrs. Chandra Hemachandra for their contributions to cub drug menace.

The “Amadyapa Hada” book, which contains the vision of the All Island Youth Abstinent Organization for the next three years, was also presented to the President.

Most Venerable Ittapana Dhammalankara Maha Nayaka t, hero, former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga, Ministers Ravi Karunanayake, Minister Arjuna Ranatunga, former Minister Athauda Seneviratne, and the President of the All Island Youth Abstinent Organization Chandana Gunawardana along with the members were present.
