    PM to leave for Indonesia today Featured

    Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave for Indonesia today (1st Aug.) for an official visit.


    He has been invited to deliver the keynote address at the inauguration ceremony of the 12th World Islamic Summit in Jakarta.


    Premier Wickremesinghe will meet the Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, and Minister for Oceanic Affairs Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, and bilateral discussions with them.


    During the Summit, the PM Wickremesinghe will also meet his Malaysian counterpart Dato' Sri Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Tajikistani President Emomali Rahman, Deputy Prime Minister of Jordhan Dr. Jawad Al Anani.


    Prime Minister will be accompanied by the Prof. Maithri Wickremesinghe, Minister of Public Enterprises Development Kabir Hashim, State Minister of National Integration and Reconciliation A.H.M. Fouzie, and the State Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Sujeewa Senasinghe.
