President Maithripala Sirisena participated in this event as a Special Guest and the Malaysian Minister of Human Resources Dato Sri Richard Riot Anak Jaem warmly welcomed the President at the venue.

This Food & Culture Festival was organized to promote food between Sri Lanka and Malaysia. This food festival comprises of awesome & delicious food of Sri Lankan Chefs including veteran Chef Publis Silva.

Similarly, a series of events organized with the aim of promoting Sri Lankan food in Malaysia.
